What It Does

ask_andee sends a free-form question to a connected andee. The recipient can answer or reject it in the & app. If they answer, their answer becomes a signal on their identity subject to visibility rules.

Sends a push notification

The recipient receives a push notification with a preview of the question text.

When To Use It

Use this when ask_question cannot answer from existing identity context and the user wants to ask a connected andee directly.

Required Scope

Scope	Purpose
`connections:write`	Write into a connected andee's question queue.

Inputs

`tag`	Yes	Recipient's `&tag`. Must be an active connection.
`question`	Yes	Question text, 1-500 characters. Asked verbatim.
